Our thermoplastic clear pieces are tested via UL 746. This states that our cover has a Maximum Service Temperature of 195 degrees Fahrenheit. This is tested at 100,000 hours. Our cover will see degradation after 11 years of continuous use.
You will not see any more fumes in the car than if you had the back window open.
While the cover is inherently scratch resistant, the team at RapidRev suggests cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth. If deeper cleaning is required, warm water and mild soap. This will protect the life of the cover.
